We love a braised rump roast on an Autumn evening, maybe with some rosemary-roasted sweet potatoes and a chilled dry white wine for contrast.

Our grassfed rump roasts make wonderful family meals. Try an herbed mustard rub , brown in bacon fat, and braise it slow in a 350-degree oven with homemade beef or beef bone stock and a dark beer. (Hat tip to the great Bruce Aidells for that idea.)
