The clod roast comes from the beef shoulder. This is a lean and flavorful cut, popular in Texas, but you've got to cook it low and slow like brisket. Braise it, smoke it, or roast it in a slow cooker until it's fork tender and you've got yourself a beautiful beef dinner.
Because it's high on flavor, you don't have to worry much about seasoning. We love a good Celtic sea salt and pepper, plus some garlic and rosemary.
Taylor Ranch grassfed beef comes from the happy cows of Green Valley, Cambria, raised without hormones or meddling on our sixth-generation ranch whose lush homegrown grass feed will pass you those nutrients your body craves and needs.
Please note: We do not ship beef. We offer pick-up days once a week in Templeton, and 2-5 p.m. Fridays at the Cambria Farmers Market. For orders of $150 or more, we will deliver to the North County and to addresses on the Coast from San Simeon to Morro Bay.
